The Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE), at Hyderabad, an autonomous non-profit educational society established in 1964, better known as a training centre for the IAS and other senior officers of Central and State Governments, public sector enterprises, and private corporate sector, has now been allowed by All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to offer a post-graduate diploma in marketing and retail management from the current academic year (2007-08).

“The course sanction has come in recognition of the institutes expertise in the area of management and in particular marketing and retailing,” said Dr R.K. Mishra, Director, IPE, while talking about the course. IPE will start the PGDMRM course from October, 2007.

IPE is devoted to management education, training, research, consultancy, IT and biotechnology for business enterprises in the public and private sector.
IPE has been recognised as “Centre of Excellence” in Management sciences for doctoral studies by The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). It has also been recognised by seven universities as the Institute for the guidance of Ph.D. students.
