“Brand Factory,” the factory outlet format of Kishore Biyani promoted Future Group, brings the promise of value shopping to customers– particularly the young– by offering the best of apparel, sportswear, footwear, fashion accessories, home linen, luggage, and mobile, among others, of national and international brands.
The group has decided to expanded the current network of six stores among others at Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, and Gaziabad to 50 stores in the next three years by 2010-11. These stores to be set up in the metros and grade A cities, will entail a capital outlay of Rs. 750 crore. Each store occupying an average space of 6,500 sq.ft. will require investment of Rs. 15 crore, according to a PTI report.
“Brand Factory” stores offer merchandise of well known brands like Arrow, Espirit, Van Heusen, Louis Philippe, Levis, Titan, Lee, Pepe, Wrangler, Lee Cooper, Nike, Adidas, Liberty, Red Tape, Reebok, Revlon and Maybelline under one roof.
As prices at “Brand Factory” stores are kept 20% to 50% lower than high street prices, these stores attract young, smart and upcoming customers who while aspiring to own branded products want them at affordable costs.
“Over 70 per cent of the people shopping at ‘Brand Factory’ outlets are under 30 years of age who are smart shoppers desirous of fashion brands at reasonable prices,” said Rajesh Seth, Chief of Marketing, Brand Factory.

Taking burning thirst of Indian youth for ‘branded’ products into account, the Future group has moved ahead in this segment of the market, where the percentage of people below the age of 30 is high.
