Reliance ‘Footprint’ opens third outlet in New Delhi

Reliance Retail, the retail arm of Mukesh Ambani led Reliance Industries, launched the third outlet of its speciality format store “Reliance Footprint” in New Delhi. Reliance has earlier opened two stores of this format in Hyderabad and Bangalore.

Reliance, which began its retail journey in November 2006 from Hyderabad, with the launch of a cluster of neighbourhood, convenience, food & grocery supermarkets called Reliance ‘Fresh,’ in the past 14 months has launched nine formats across the country.

Apart from the flagship retail chain Reliance ‘Fresh,’ the group has so far unveiled following retail formats: Relaince ‘Mart’ (hypermarket), Reliance ‘Super’ (Minimart) and five speciality formats Reliance igital(durables), Reliance Trendz(apparel), Reliance ‘Wellness’ (healthcare & wellness), Reliance ‘Footprint’ (footwear and accessories), Reliance ‘Jewels’ (precious metal & stones jewellery, and Reliance ‘Time-Out’ (books, music, toys).

“Reliance Footprint” store, which is located at Star City Mall in Mayur Vihar area of New Delhi, is spread over a retail space of 7,500 sq.ft., offers a wide range of over 25,000 products. Reliance ‘Footprint’ provides a choice of high quality footwear, bags and accessories, under all categories including formal, casual, ethnic, party, and sports, that cater to all the needs of all the members of a family.

Reliance ‘Footwear’ portfolio of products includes about 50 brands for men and women including Geox, Ecco, Josef Seibel, Rockport, Hush Puppies, Flosheim, Lee Cooper, Clarks, Levis, Piccadilly, Azaleia and Dr Scholl’s.

The brands range for kids includes Crocs and Disney and sports range offers brands like Nike, Addidas, Reebok, Puma and Kappa.

The retail chain is also offering products under its private labels like Mancini, Tosca, Viviana, Pitter Patter and Tom Sawyer.
