Cafe Coffee Day to unveil new formats; expand in tier-II and III towns

Café Coffee Day, the largest network of retail coffee shops across the country, in pursuance of its expansion plans, is looking at launching new formats, while focusing on tier-II and tier-III cities.

Café Coffee Day, which currently operates 590 coffee dispensing outlets, is present in various formats that include petrol pump shops, airport shops and take-away kiosks. It is now mulling over setting up full-fledged restaurant format as well. Post expansion, the coffee restaurant chain will have a pan-India network of over 900 outlets.

This was revealed to Hindu Business Line by (Ms) Bidisha Nagaraj, President (Marketing) of Café Coffee Day.

Café Coffee Day, a part of of the Rs. 500 crore Amalgamated Bean Coffee Trading Co, besides having coffee shops in India is also present in Pakistan and Western Europe.
