Spencer’s Retail, the RPG group owned food & grocery chain has organised simultaneous food festivals to promote cuisine, culture and tourism of Thailand. These food festivals were launched on Saturday, the 14th, at Spencer’s Hyper at Kolkata and Mumbai. The two weeks long food festivals (June 14-25) have been organised in association with the Tourism Authority of Thailand Ltd. The food festival organised at Spencer’s Hyper in South City Mall at Kolkata was inaugurated by the Consul General of Thailand, Manop Mekprayoonthong in the presence of Spencer’s Business Head (East), Praveen Dalal.
The festivals are also being organised at Spencer’s retail stores in Bangalore and Gurgaon. These will, however, be held between June 19 and 30.
